The Transition Pieces are in High Gear.
As you may have noticed I ended up posting a lot later than usual due to the current phase of the project I’m in. I got the dance parts done, I know what the payoff scene will be, so now it’s time to work on the stuff I’ve just vaguely thought of.
You know that short sequence shows do when they just come off from a commercial? What kind of music do you call that? Post-Commercial Music doesn’t give any good results. There’s that scene I have to make, since I kind ofwant the video to start off with the event already in progress.
The short montage of other performers I’m still working on and I’m still upholding my idea of “no characters that have interacted with the cookie fun girls” my reason being that they’re there to watch Karen do her thing and not outperform her. Plus, the event is supposed to be a parody of those dumb music awards show that the awesome people like us, gamers et al, find shallow and liked only by the brainless backward masses. So it wouldn ‘t make sense for them to show up there and perform, especially when they already have someone they know who’ll be doing something awesome (i.e. do a really naughty number onstage)
In other words I need to be more selective of the other characters. Characters from a known set are a no-no because I could use them for the audience scenes instead.
My one consolation though is that the montage of the other performers are things I don’t need to get hyper detailed with because… it’s supposed to be a lame show until Karen does her magic. But at the same time I dont’ want to make that part of the video look so disjointed and so low quality compared to the footage I’ve already rendered.
Another thing about these kinds of shows is that they’re big money so they do have very high quality, something I’m trying to sorely imitate, albeit poorly. I’ve yet to find a way to make abstract animations, nor do I know anyone who can or at least knows the theory behind them.
All I know is make some colorful boxes in a semi-haphazard manner put some random font and there you go.
I really need to step up my game in this department.
Stay wiggly! ~( ‘w’ )~
